A Letter from Our Pastor

Dear Co-laborers in Christ,

I have known both Danny and Melissa Kessler for many years. I have known Danny ever since he got saved. Since his new birth we have been best of friends. He was the best man in my wedding and so was I in his. We were both trained for the ministry at the same time when we attended our local church’s Bible Institute together. For many years, we went soul-winning together. We went street preaching together. We both served as trustees in the local church. We mowed the lawn and did all kinds of work around the church together.

In fact, Danny and I are so close as friends that one could argue that I am biased towards him. Nevertheless, I probably don’t know of another missionary that I recommend more than Brother Danny. He has always been one of the most soul conscious witnesses that I’ve ever known. He is also a hard worker. He is one of the godliest and most dedicated Christians that I know.

I grew up with Melissa. We call her “Missy”. I have known her ever since grade school. Missy grew up for several years on the mission field. Surely that experience has been an asset in their current work. Her love for the Lord and dedication to God’s service is just as fervent as her husband’s.  Also, the Kessler children are wonderful helpers in the work of God.

The Kesslers are not novices. They are battle-tested and proven. Anyone who knows anything about Bulgaria knows that like the rest of Eastern Europe it is a challenging mission field. Yet, despite the challenges, the Kesslers have managed to develop a solid Gospel-preaching, Bible-believing church among the gypsy people. Anyone who has served in that part of the world will tell you that this is no small accomplishment. I have visited them in Bulgaria and have seen their work first-hand. The work they are doing is commendable. What God is doing through the Kessler family is impressive.

I am honored to serve as their pastor. Prior to serving as their pastor, I also served as a missionary on 2 different mission fields. As a former missionary myself, I am familiar with what it takes to be effective on the mission field. Trust me when I tell you that the Kessler family exemplify everything you would expect from a veteran missionary family. I could go on and on explaining to you why the Kesslers are worthy of your most enthusiastic support.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Danny Kessler family.

In Christ,
Pastor Emanuel Rodriguez
