I want to thank all of you that continue to support us financially and pray for us and this work; you are prayed for by us also “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” Phil. 1:3. Thank you all that gave special offerings in January. I am not shocked but never cease to be amazed how the Lord through you fulfills Luke 6:38 in our lives “Give and it shall be given unto you…. shall men give into your bosom”.

What a privilege it is to be a channel of Gods blessings and work. Kensey (oldest daughter, studying at PCC) was with us from December 15 till January 17, 2024. Missy and I are grateful that our daughter who is on her own is now living for the Lord Jesus herself and wanted to be with us for the holiday break. We were also told by our son Josh and his wife Emma that during the furlough they hope and plan to travel with us some. This is a huge reward for us. It’s a blessing that our children are following Christ for themselves. What greater thing could a parent hope and pray for! Men, our first priority is our wives and children. They are our first ministry. We must never forget this!

Furlough– We have bought airfare. We were able to purchase round trip tickets for $650 per person. We are due to leave Bulgaria for Orlando, Fl. on May 7, and return to Bulgaria on September 11. We are scheduled to be in at least 40 churches, most of which we haven’t seen since 2016, or deputation days. I am planning to have other brethren cover for me while we are away on furlough. I ask you to pray for me for wisdom in doing so. We have things to accomplish like everybody else does like school, daily home life, and ministry before departing. I ask you to pray that our gracious Lord help us to accomplish everything that we should.

Sowing the Word in January– I had the privilege again to be with Bro. Maulucci and sons for three days. For the week we were in 1 city and 17 villages and gave out 5718 John/Romans. Also with the Slavi Dichev family we were in 5 other villages giving out 440 books with gospel tracts and response cards.

New Book for the brethren– Bro. James Knox is the author of “The Humanity of Christ” and pastor of The Bible Baptist Church, Deland FL. Late last year I hired a trusted brother in Christ to translate this book and then another to edit it. Three days ago I got a quote and now have an agreement with a print shop in the nearby city of Burgas to print the first 100 copies. I hope to have these books by the end of February. I want our church in Karnobat to have this book and to study from it on Thursday evenings while we are on furlough. I know it will be a blessing to them.

We are looking forward to what the Lord will do through us this new year. We are also looking forward to seeing our family and all you that we have made plans with. One day we will all be together and with our Lord Jesus Christ. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus!

Yours in Christ – Bro. Danny Kessler & Family
