Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Chris, Zac, and I had the opportunity to give out John and Romans with Bro. Nick Maulucci and his boys once in June and once in July for three days each. It was such a blessing for us to be able to labor with them again. Since our last update we as a family have also been to 7 different villages/towns and have given out over 2,300 books. It is a blessing to speak the language and be able to converse with the locals. Sometimes we have good conversions with individuals but mostly we are just sowing the Word of God. Pray it falls on some good ground. Bro. Slavi Dichev and his family continue to help in this effort as well. They are such a blessing. He, just to remind you, was our builder in remodeling the church house in Karnobat.

Bro. Jeff and Grace Shergalis were with us recently. They are missionaries in Sofia. The Shergalis’s and our family are planning to go to Scotland this year in October for a four day meeting with Bulgarians living there. We are planning to preach on “The Good News”. I’d ask you to please pray for this upcoming event.

Back in January of 2023 I had written about a good conversation I had with a young man named, Acen, and young lady named, Pamela. I was able to reconnect with Acen recently; and he came to church. He told me then that he had given his life to Jesus Christ; and that he now sees things in an entirely different light. He said that Jesus is his Lord and there is no turning back. Pamela on the other hand still has not made this most important decision. We did see her in the grocery store recently. She was friendly and we spoke briefly. I ask you to continue to pray with me for the saving of her soul.

This past Sunday, Aug 3, a young man came to our church with his girlfriend. Subin is his name. I had the privilege to baptize him and his parents in April of 2020. He has been going to another church for a while. After church he said that coming back to our fellowship was like being back home. His girlfriend enjoyed the service too;and they said they will be back more often. Glory be to the Lord.

Please continue to pray for Alyssa’s health. She is doing well but we need to find a doctor here to monitor things. We have a good recommendation for a lady doctor; but we are waiting to hear back from her.

I have been teaching/ preaching to our people in Karnobat from Bro. James Knox’s book “Search the Scriptures”, specifically the section on the twenty studies from Genesis 3. I have enjoyed this and have gotten some good feed back from some of the brethren. As always thank you all for giving and praying for us! God bless you!
