Doctrinal Statement
The Bible
The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe the King James Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, preserved, and perfect Word of God in English.
God
We believe in the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Who exists in 3 persons:God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord, God manifested in the flesh, Who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for the sins of the whole world, resurrected bodily from the grave on the third day, and currently lives on the right hand of the Father.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, true salvation results in a changed life. And once a man is saved he is eternally secure in Christ Jesus.
The Local Church
We believe that the local church is an assembly of born again, baptized believers who congregate for the purpose of worshipping God and to receive Bible instruction through the preaching and teaching of a God-called Pastor. Furthermore, we believe the church is to be theocratic in nature, in other words, it is self-governing, with Christ as the head, a God-called Pastor as the under-shepherd, and the Bible as its final authority.
The Great Commission
We believe that the purpose of the local church and each of its members is to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through confrontational soul-winning efforts, discipling converts that they may do the same, and by sending out and supporting missionaries around the world who are also actively engaged in preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, and planting Bible-believing churches.
Moral Separation
Since God is holy we believe in the necessity of living a holy life for the purpose of demonstrating true Christianity and the power of Christ in our personal lives.
Ecclesiastical Separation
We also stand against Roman Catholicism, Hyper-calvinism, the Charismatic Movement, New-evangelicalism, the New Age movement and philosophies, and the Ecumenical Movement.
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the pre-millennial, pre-tribulation, personal, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
